Light medium red, translucent color. PNP, drank a couple glasses over 90 minutes. Looking back at my previous notes, I find myself writing almost identical descriptors on this wine again. This is really quite mesmerizing for its purity and feminine elegance. The nose is captivating with Christmas spices, strawberry, dried earth, soil and dried herbs laced with scents of red roses. The palate is so refined, a weightless medium body with plenty of depth, pretty red berry fruit, ultra-fine tannins, dried herbs, earth and a crystalline purity. I love this, and it almost makes me want to make out loud comparisons to that R guy from Burgundy, but I don't dare. Makes me really want to crack a '15 Maresh Maresh Vineyard now.

Red fruit moving quickly into a deep, dense core with earth and slight tertiary notes. Finishes medium with a lick of acidity and smooth tannin. Deeper and bass-ier than many 15s which were blown out, this was a surprise and really tasty.

Quite a dark yet translucent PN colour. Nose shows cola, sweet cherries, roses, tar and scorched earth, and same aromas carry through to the palate. Tannins are silky, yet dark and uber concentrated. Well made, very pure, yet too high octane for my taste. This screams for bloody steak or burger. 14%

Such a light, delicate pinot. Bright cherry fruit tempered by very welcome acid. After a couple hours the fruit started to fade, leaving a pleasant but perhaps less impressive wine. Suggest minimal decant, drink in the next five years.

Not nearly as exciting as the '14 version of this, which was a bit of let down. Darker fruit profile and fairly narrow aromatic range. Maybe just enjoyed too young, will let my other bottle rest a while longer. Black plum, bit sappy, black pepper.

A very pretty, translucent red. Bright tart cherry off-setting darker sous-bois, with a lingering spicy note. A somewhat short finish. Still, quite tasty and a good value for the appellation wine.

Really needed time to open up. First glass was a bit flat; with the bottle open a day you could really see the quality of the fruit and how it had developed with about four years of bottle age. A very nice underripely structured style of PN. Nothing close to a top release for me, but a nice example of Dundee Hills fruit.

Light, fragrant, balanced. Very nice. Nothing cloying or candy cola sweet about this O-noir. The acids are nicely synched with the red and blue berry fruits. The nose is floral.
I seem to pull a bottle about once a year and my tasting notes are weirdly consistent. This is the entry level version and at $25 (from Downtown Portland) a good buy - compare against the St. Innocent Village Cuvee.

Not tasted this in several years and was surprised how light in color it was. But it has an intense nose of red berry, strawberry, cherry and spice. Medium body, really pure cherry fruit on palate, with supporting tannins and good acid. Will certainly keep, but this is in a great place right now.

Lught medium Translucent garnet color. Coravined a glass and drank over 40 minutes. These are in fine drinking shape. Good aromatics to the red fruits, Christmas spice and florals notes on the nose. The palate has an excellent depth and power;, at times a sapppy core of pretty red fruits that vacillates back to a more tart mix of cherry with berry overtones, medium body, earth, Christmas spice, very bright with nice texture and polished tannins. Just a super effort and absolute steal of a wine.

Light medium translucent ruby color. PNP, drank glasses over 90 minutes. I had this a couple months ago and it was good then, and it's already better now. This has the Arterberry signature elegance with such purity and delineation. Very pretty wet earth nose, funk, light body with plenty of stuffing, Christmas spices and potpourri. Great weight and style, glad there's more where this came from. 91+ to 92pts.

I opened this with a little, unwarranted, trepidation after being disappointed by a recent namesake 2014 Maresh vineyard. I'm seeing a trend. I seem to much prefer 2015 over 2014 from Oregon. 2015 Oregon seems less weighty, less rich and more transparent then 2014. I have no idea what the critics think of the two vintages but based on this btl I can't wait to taste the more lofty Maresh Vineyard from 2015. PnP, sip & sniff for 30+ minutes before dinner. This 2015 Dundee Hills is stunning for their entry level appellation wine that is said to even include some purchased fruit. A translucent bright red with some bricking on the edges. This is what PN should, smell, taste and feel like. Hint of forest floor, earth, red raspberry, cherry and mineral on a vibrant vineyard fresh frame. Not alot left for sipping after dinner. Going back for more of these. Paid $28 locally, drinks like $50 plus. Label says 14% Alc but feels more like 12%.
Translucent bright ruby color. Aerated into glasses; drank 1 glass over an hour. Well, this not unexpectedly, is pretty good. Showing well now, deep red fruits on the nose, hints of sous bois, earth and cherry creamsicle. The palate has dark red cherry, nice dried earth, wood and soil on a light medium body. What a nice pinot at a ridiculous price under 23. Back up the truck, and this has the stuffing to age as well. 90 (+)pts.
