Opened for 2.5 hours. Color is deep and opaque garnet/purple. On the nose: I am coming off a cold so not sure how good my effort will be, but I get : Pepper, iron, violets and cassis. Probably a lot more there than I can get at the moment. On the palate: Cassis, pepper, violets, iron, blackberries and a bit of cinnamon. This is superb even with a cold remnant. It is quite young, probably needs at least 5 years and I should have opened for maybe 6 hours. Since I was sick over 3 days and Christmas I wanted to drink something really good to celebrate being almost better and the holidays.

My fav of the '15 La La's tonight, the most balanced and perfumed despite the extreme youth of these wines. Beautiful pot-pouri, violets, lavender, dark berries, ample but more silky tannins compared to the other La La's, elegant and juicy but refined. Needs 10+ years. Cotsens blind night

Very great wine, to wait a minimum of 8 years. A little level under La Landonne 2015, and a big level under the best Guigal of all my tasting life, La Turque 2015

89% Syrah and 11% Viognier. Dense, yet wonderfully seductive and unreal deep aroma. Powerful juicy red currant fruit, pretty cigar, rough soil and stored meat. Really full and rich wine with tightly packed dark red fruit, coffee and wood. World class structure. Delicate tannin-structure.. Long finish. Needs time, but this is a very nice La Mouline! 96 points. For now. (96-98p)

The incredible aromatics of sweet red and black cherries, blueberries, smoke, licorice, flowers, pepper and thyme are already seeking and keeping your attention. Rich, concentrated and intense, there is a beautiful sense of purity to the fruit as it seamlessly coats your mouth, palate, teeth and gums with pleasure.

2015 Guigal single vineyard cote rotie release dinner (Golden Century, Sussex Street): Ripe blackberry, slight herbaceous/stalky note, plenty of spice, pretty, jubey notes. Pretty, juicy, black fruits, a little stone fruit, plenty of tannins but softly handled, the oak more evident on the palate though this is lovely.
