Grün schimmernd im Glas. Juicy und animierend. Saftiger grüner Apfel und Limettenabrieb. Nicht zu süß mit schönem Abgang. Tolles PLV, ohne Zeitdruck genießbar.

The color is pale lemon. On the nose there are pronounced aromas of green apple, ripe peach, lemon, linden blossom and little petrol. The wine is developing. It is medium-dry, has a high acidity and the body is medium(-). The flavors on the palate are also pronounced and similar to the nose. The finish is long. This is a very nice and extremely well balanced Kabinett. It is at a very nice stage but has some potential for aging. Glass I used: Josephine No 1. I compared Josephine No 1 to Josephine No 2. I prefered No 1 because the sweetness is less pronounced and the wine is better balanced.

Medium, slightly goldie lemon in colour with significant petulance on the the glass. Lovely aromas of citrus, green apple, blossoms & petrol. On the palate, medium bodied citrus, lemon/lime, green apple, peach, honey, blossoms, creamy mouthfeel, high acidity & a long finish to spice & crushed gravel. Lovely, slightly off dry but the backbone of acidity balances off the sweetness & the flavour is terrific!

clean and pure aroma w/ white flower, green apple, white peach and chalky notes. reasonably concentrated and lively on palate, even feeling a bit fizzy. That's how Mosel kabinett should be.

AP 06 17. Drank in Reykjavik after a week and a half of enduring their notoriously bad wine market, so my review may be more positive than it usually would be. You’re struck at first at what a large, burly wine this is. Not in terms of ripeness, but in terms of concentration. A true kabinett in terms of somewhat green fruit and raging acidity - it just seems dialed up a few notches over what I’m used to in a Mosel Kabinett (I didn’t find this to be true with the 2015 iteration of this). Well crafted in its own right, I’m not sure how this would stand up next to another big name Kabinett from this vintage. If you get a good deal or there simply isn’t much else around, I say go for it!

Prototypical and wonderful - that is the heart of Mosel's wonderful wine world. Perfectly line. Very direct. Juicy. Minerality and bright fruit. No tropical fruit cocktail. Everything in balance and well-defined.

Only healthy fruit when it has more acidity and has white peach and green aromas. Crispy minerality and clean on the finish. The acidity definately balances out the RS.

Acid haus (Stanley Street Gallery, Sydney): wet slate, earth, apple and lemon. Slight sulphur and spritz on the palate with ripe apple though the acidity dominates the fruit, sharp, a bit out of whack at the moment and still a bit simple.

Very closed. A little sulphur, nutty aromas, and peach.
More of the same in the mouth, with a chalky texture dominating the wine. Not much weight but it fans out across the palate, finishing clean with a gentle candy flavour and dried spices. Grapefruit, apple and pineapple.

The wine looks greenish gold colored. It smells and tastes like apple, white peach and mineral. The body is light. The wine has round texture. The wine finishes medium.

Fresh, crisp. Pear, white peach, orchard fruits, white flowers. Semi-sweet. Delicious.

Cream soda, lime, lemon, peach, lots of mineral. Such harmony and balance, you don't notice it has as high as 42.4g/L residual sugar.

Rizza and Bangers (Prince Sydney, 40 Hansard Street): slightly earthy with peaches, struck flint notes. Off dry, tangy, quite spiced with more green apple here. Medium plus length, kind of nice.
