  • Grün schimmernd im Glas. Juicy und animierend. Saftiger grüner Apfel und Limettenabrieb. Nicht zu süß mit schönem Abgang. Tolles PLV, ohne Zeitdruck genießbar.

  • The color is pale lemon. On the nose there are pronounced aromas of green apple, ripe peach, lemon, linden blossom and little petrol. The wine is developing. It is medium-dry, has a high acidity and the body is medium(-). The flavors on the palate are also pronounced and similar to the nose. The finish is long. This is a very nice and extremely well balanced Kabinett. It is at a very nice stage but has some potential for aging. Glass I used: Josephine No 1. I compared Josephine No 1 to Josephine No 2. I prefered No 1 because the sweetness is less pronounced and the wine is better balanced.

  • Medium, slightly goldie lemon in colour with significant petulance on the the glass. Lovely aromas of citrus, green apple, blossoms & petrol.
On the palate, medium bodied citrus, lemon/lime, green apple, peach, honey, blossoms, creamy mouthfeel, high acidity & a long finish to spice & crushed gravel.
Lovely, slightly off dry but the backbone of acidity balances off the sweetness & the flavour is terrific!

  • clean and pure aroma w/ white flower, green apple, white peach and chalky notes. reasonably concentrated and lively on palate, even feeling a bit fizzy. That's how Mosel kabinett should be.

  • AP 06 17. Drank in Reykjavik after a week and a half of enduring their notoriously bad wine market, so my review may be more positive than it usually would be. You’re struck at first at what a large, burly wine this is. Not in terms of ripeness, but in terms of concentration. A true kabinett in terms of somewhat green fruit and raging acidity - it just seems dialed up a few notches over what I’m used to in a Mosel Kabinett (I didn’t find this to be true with the 2015 iteration of this). Well crafted in its own right, I’m not sure how this would stand up next to another big name Kabinett from this vintage. If you get a good deal or there simply isn’t much else around, I say go for it!
