The starter wine at an Indian Restaurant with my wine group. We all loved it and I should have bought more! Notes of lemon peel. Less grapefuity than other Sauvignon Blancs I have had, with more weight.

Bright and aromatic. Classic well made New World SB. Lemon peel, bright citrus notes. Light gravel and slate elements. Finish is high in acidity and great.

This was a beautiful Sauvignon Blanc that gained in complexity as the evening went on. Wonderful wine and slightly disappointed in myself that I didn’t buy more. Tropical notes on the palate.

Real nice and correct, full but fresh. Shows a nice saline/mineral streak on the palate, with plenty of energy and nervous acidity. More savory than sweet, it can be had alone but wants food, like bread and cheese.

Sweet, clean nose. Fresh on the palate, and not “overdone” or big, like many California (Napa) SBs can be. This is very nice all by itself on a gorgeous night on the patio, or would pair wonderfully with a light fish/seafood meal.

As usual, this wine is on point. Probably like it a little better at fridge temp (around 40 degrees) vs. cellar temp (55), but that might have had something to do with the Texas heat. In any event, another great showing for this sav blanc.

I am not usually a SB person but Matt convinced me to buy one with a money back guarantee, so I did and am very glad about it. Nicely fruited but not overly done. I have tasted some of Mike’s other SBs and did not care for them, but this one is great.

I tested it over a few days period since last week. It somewhat aligns more with the '14 SB compared with last year. Gets more of the becklyn SB drink feeling that I like around the 2/3 day of the consumption. I will certainly decant it next time. Very good return. Great floral on the nose even on day 7 (in ~40f in between the tests)

First experience with this wine, great nose, tropical fruits, grapefruit, lots of grassy notes, great balance. Really nice example of what New World SB can be.

This is still really young -- basically drank it right off the UPS truck! Citrus notes dominate, but this has nice depth of flavor. Some floral notes. Sage. finishes surprisingly long. Went well with sushi.

Very herbal nose. Not so much on the tongue. On the tongue there is the grapefruit sensation that seems to be endemic with most SBs, but, thankfully, there are other flavor sensations that add to the experience: definitely, some tropical fruit—pineapple—and, also, some slate. Nice acid provides refreshing crispness. Should be a nice go-with for seafood. That's my plan for tonight.

Not sure what the flaw/cause was, but reeked of fish and tasted just as bad as it smelled. Down the drain it went.

Consistent winner. Probably Mike's best sav blanc for me.

Light sunkissed straw color. Nose of honey dew melon and cantaloupe with lite notes of lemon, lime and slate. Bright acidity. Medium bodied. 90-91.

As with past vintages, this is just killer. Happy to have shared with family and friends over Thanksgiving holidays.
