A Private Tasting in London of various varietals: I initially didn’t think much of this, but the wine opened very well and got much better by the last sip. Smoky, nutty nose. Gamey butter palate. Some fruit left on the medium finish, though not much, and this needed the accompanying cheese plate to really bring the flavors out. Drink now if you don’t like your whites to lose freshness 91-92

Kentish Feast (Petts Wood): Colour, pale straw. On the nose - a little muted, initially some struck match, straw and a whiff on honey. On the palate - at first definitely a whiff of reduction, which blows off somewhat but never completely. There's density - a lovely core of acidity, a little bit floral, a little bit mineral but a big mouthfeel. Kept coming back to this - lovely stuff.

Fresh, bright, clean, white florals and a little leesey. Nice white spice too. On the palate I'd say this definitely has the Corton Charlemagne power and density, quite impressive. Good mineral aids the richness. Focused, good acid, long finish. Very pleasurable drinking and imagine these will improve. 92 - 93.

Aroma of lemon and a bit of yeast. A good mix of minerality (stone, flint) and richness with a long finish. Nice wine.

May 2021 note seems a bit generous. Pleasant enough if not terribly complex.

Acker Merrall Bicentennial Gala (Cipriani Wall Street - New York NY): Small glass, brief note. Rich start, brighter middle through finish, with good stuffing on expanding finish. Good now with upside, 92+ point potential.
