Purchased Nov 2022. Root Day - Lemon coloured in glass with medium sized persisten bubbles. Nose is citrus, apple, pear and just a bit of saline. On the palate it’s refreshing with terrific bubble retention that lifts the palate and massages the gums. Flavours are apple, pear, biscuit and a bit of that saline and some chalkiness. The finish is warm and long with the apple and pear continuing. There’s a slight bitter touch on the back palate that is not off putting but is present. Delicious!

The Kitchen Table, London 10yr Anniversary Event (The Kitchen Table, London): By the glass as part of the pairing for The Kitchen Table, London 10yr Anniversary Event. 100% Chardonnay from Grand Cru vineyards. Fresh and vibrant, soft rich undertone, bright though and in a way in the middle of the richness scale albeit far more an aperitif champagne than anything else. Well made and very much the elegant wine one needs to to kickstart a celebration. 90-91

Finally a wonderful half bottle option with a high QPR. Tasted at the winery. Crisp, clear and wonderful champagne as you would expect from a B2B. Medium complexity and for the price a real winner. Around 12 euro plus tax and shipping, a must get for a reasonably priced half bottle option.
The Grand Cru NV also comes in a half bottle. Both are excellent and inexpensive.

This example wasn't showing as well as my last bottle. Couldn't tell when it was disgorged, but I bought this in 2014. All the classic BdB aromas, and palate, but the finish was biting and short. Shouldn't have been this a way. Wasn't tip top, but we consumed it anyway. I've previously enjoyed fresher bottling of this wine. Not shabby but not great.

Old World Blind Tasting Group $40+ (Bin 75): Medium bubbles, steely yellow green; marzipan, green apple, pencil lead, ginger, delicate, yeast, medium richness, youthful; chalk on the palate, good power richness and depth; needed more air to open fully; delicious; obvious as a Blanc de Blancs.

Tart apples, white stone fruit, lime and yeasty notes in the nose. Great balance of fruit and acidity on the palate, nice bubbles, smooth, mineral, quite long. Excellent grower's NV champagne.

Recommended grower Champagne at Spec's. Pale straw color with fine bubbles. Citrusy nose, which eventually opened to reveal some toasty, yeasty notes. Very fine on the palate with zinging, minerally citrus flavors that give way to yeasty toast, finishing elegantly with white toast and a refreshing zip of acidity. Beautiful

Had at Cru, Ft Myers; Spectacular, best champagne I ever had; I didn't see bubbles so much as a cloud or a mist rising to the top; incredible and silky feel in the mouth.

Usually not a big fan of champagne, but I liked this bottle. Ripe yellow fruits, perfect acidity and plenty of toast/yeast.
