Light golden yellow in color. Full, fragrant & attractive nose of ripe fruit aromas of grapefruit, lemons/limes & stone fruits with overtones of floral notes of honeysuckle, minerals, wet stones & a hint of honey. Medium-light bodied with a very good concentration of well balanced & smooth textured, lush, ripe fruit flavors of grapefruit, lemons/limes & stone fruits with honey & minerals. Lingering finish. Drinks quite well at present but may develop further with additional aging. A blend of 54% Grenache Blanc, 21% Viognier, 14% Marsanne, 8% Roussanne & 3% Vermentino.

Winebar [4 Whites, 8 Reds, & 5 *shared* reds] from 08/10/18 (Vintage Wines Ltd., San Diego, CA): 54% Grenache Blanc / 21% Viognier / 14% Marsanne 8% Roussanne / 3% Vermentino (aka Rolle) from the Los Olivos District; "Each component was fermented separately in neutral French oak barriques & puncheons, then aged on fine lees for 8 mos. A small portion of the wine was allowed to go through malolactic fermentation to increase mouthfeel." 13.1% ABV, 3.31 pH, & 6.7 g/L T.A.; 1,433 cases produced.
N: Grass with notes of toast? Minerals as well
P: MF body; RNDISH entry with NICE frt met by tart acidity which defines the wine into & through the LONG, tangy/sweet finish with glimpses of honey. Still coming together? Could well improve through '18, then drink nicely through '20, poss longer. My VG+/EXC-, arguably the higher given the QPR of this vendor's $16.95, for which I could only find the winery's $21 with which to compare.

Nothing wrong with this wine except that the varietals should provide more complexity. Do not serve below cellar temperature.

Tasty, balanced. Pleasant white Rhone tropical nose, not overpowering. Mid-weight, fresh. Good price, too.
