Deep ruby color. On the nose cherry, leather and earth. Tannins are still medium+ but have softened. Bright acidity provides nice balance. Cherry and plum on the palate.

Real good buy from Garagiste. Double decanted. Lovely wine. Light style, Fruit and savoury. Good acid profile but soft overall. Nice with veggie lasagna. Good on Day 2 with grilled salmon with Japanese bbq sauce

One hour decant. Nose of cherries, red flowers, and notes of Jolly Rancher hard candy. Palate comes with darker cherry than the nose would indicate, carrying lots of cedar along with dried sage and peppery salumi. Cranberry and white pepper pair with chalky tannins to ride the acidity through the finish, adding a little dried herb at the finale. Drinking well right now.

Nose dark plum and dark cherries with a touch of mint and a bit of an alcohol bite. Deer rich cherry fruit is the prominent focus of the palate, adding some earth and leather layers. Chewy tannins, dried cherry, pomegranate, a touch of acidity and a finale of strong oak and lingering tannins. A modern style.

Takes 20 minutes or so to shake a bit of earthy funk. Bright translucent garnet color. Nose has an elegant intensity, there is ample concentration in the dark cherry, herbal, and woody aromas. The palate, for the time being, is dominated by the tannic spine, which seems to be keeping other elements in check. Nevertheless, there's mouth-filling dense cherry ripe fruit supported by ample oak, tannin, anise and alcohol on the long, dry, slightly heavy finish.
Taking stock, it feels like this needs some time to knit its components together, which seems likely over the next three to five years. But at this point it's not a contender out of the gate for my favorite '15 Brunello.

Complex, spicy, and somewhat high-toned red fruits on the nose. The palate leans traditional, with avg acidity and length. It's falling short of its nose just now, but some bottle rest could help to improve that. Drink 2023-2033. recommended
Tasted at Benvenuto Brunello NYC. This producer has a foot in the traditional camp and one in the modern camp as the style has elements of both. This was initially aged in large Slavonian oak casks, then finished for 6 months French barriques. It has a sweet cherry nose and plenty of tannin and acidity and some noticeable vanilla on the palate. Good finish. Should be long lived and a keeper for the cellar.

Bright red cherries, subtle bitter herbs, lots of cinnamon, subtle wood. Really clean and spicy, quite delicious.

Really delicious fruit, once you get it to open up. It needed almost 2 hours of the canteen. I would still lay it down for another 2 to 3 years.

Amazing nose - plums and dates - nice acidity. Drinking great now but modest tannins should allow another cellaring a couple of years.

Very dry but balanced well, with notes of cherry on the nose and stronger with the finish, low tannins and light-ish body.
