Round, ripe, very well balanced and concentrated, drinking easily at the moment and for many years ahead. Fresh, with crisp acidity offers an intense nose of black currant, plum, olives and menthol. The finish is so juicy, long and intense, offering great pleasure.

Garrigue, green olive, leafy herb, and peppery, bright red fruits create the nose. On the palate, the wine is soft, polished, and fresh with a lean to the peppery, red fruit side of the style range. It is already showing quite well, so you can easily drink this now with pleasure, or age it for all of its future, secondary development. Produced from a blend of 50% Grenache, 20% Syrah, 20% Mourvedre, and 5% Cinsault, along with other, assorted red and white grape varieties. 60-70% of the harvest is destemmed. The wine is a product of very low yields as close to 35% of the crop was lost due to colure. Drink from 2022-2037.

Opened and decanted an hour ahead of mixed grilled pork chops. Dark, murky, purple-crimson color. The nose brings cherry blossoms, blueberry compote, white pepper, wild herbs, and crushed granite. The palate is full, round, compact, and textured, bringing a core of red cherries encapsulated in a wave of blackberries, blueberries, and blackcurrant, mixed with tobacco, garrigue, and baking spices into a tannic finish. This is very promising but still unfolding and will be best 2025-2035. Technical score: 93. Enjoyment score: 91.

Pretty, fruit lozenge red berry compote - all raspberries and strawberries. Juicy but very slightly dilute red fruit, talc textured tannins. Nice but not as pleasing as I remember the 2016 being.

In a phase, and not firing on all cylinders yet. Black currant, black raspberry, and garrigue commingle, with a woodsy note emerging late. Smoldering below the surface, it's only a matter of time.

Nice balance of minerality with generous fruit. Red and black. Saline streak and some baking spices; this is more robust than I expected for a VT. Probably too early to drink. But I loved it anyway.

Decanted 2h30m. Beautiful nose of plums and dark cherries, with some forest floor notes. The palate shows great acidity, with more plums and dark berries on the palate and white pepper and some wood notes on the long ending that’s marked by prominent, somewhat dusty tannins. Already a beauty - much better after the decanting - this will be a stunner in 4-5 years!

Way too young. Better on the 4th night. Even with a 2 hour decant, served with roast duck breast, it worked well, but not nearly integrated with the tannins yet. Clearly this will be a fantastic wine in about 5 - 10 years. Or with at least a 6 - 10 hour decant.

Popped and poured. Great, deep purple color.. Tons of sweet black and red fruit. Deep and integrated It’s way too young right now, but I was traveling and it was the best option on the wine list. This has the potential to be special.

This is just fantastic, I love Telegraphe. The alcohol is well integrated, medium body, long finish, red well concentrated berries, and a great balance. This is drinking very well already, just needs 1 hour of air.

Very dark. Subdued nose to start..with time shows dark fruit, sandalwood, roses. Linear at this stage, athletic. Good acid and easily the wine of the night. My style of CNdP.

More restrained than I would have expected for a CdP. This had the acid to back up the fruit and a bit of more savory and earthy style. Looks like note before saw that too and wasn’t a fan, but for me it worked. I think the wine was still young and not quite as pulled together as I’d have hoped, but perhaps with some more time. Pleasant surprise.

S: Deep Ruby. N: Pronounced green beans, asparagus upfront that's troubling. Red cherries, plums, violets; but difficult to discern through the stemminess P: M+ Acid, M+ Alc(a little heat is present), pronounced flavors, but not balanced. Chalking tannins. M+ finish, but not enjoyable Unfortunately this hot vintage may have required early picking before phenolic ripeness, thus adding pronounced stem notes. Acceptable wine lacking balance due to a hot challenging year...

Black plums, mocha, mushrooms, and lilacs on the nose. Deep dark salty fruit on the palate with a firm tannic base, a rising acid frame, and a fresh raspberry aromatic back note. Precocious with an internal measure of integrity, perfect with barbecued lamb on a bed greek oregano.

Out of a half-bottle and given a quick decant. Very pleasurable, opulent wine, but not over the top. Rich berry fruit dominates, but nice structure and slight hint of spice indicates it will age well. Look forward to trying some older bottles.

On the nose spicy, perfumed, pure fruit, smoke, crushed stones. On the palate fresh and bright, quite firm with powerful tannins, good fruit underneath, very good length. Spicy. 92-93+

Closer in appearance to the Racines than the other Châteaunufs. Good perfumed nose. Elegant, with sweet fruit and a sweetness to the pepper. Herby and peppery, with some liqueur touches to the fruit. Lovely freshness and fragrant blue fruit. Sweet and succulent attack; it feels full but there is great lift and poise. Lithe, I suppose. Lovely freshness, very fine tannins, and pretty elegant. Some dried fruit on the finish, fruit seeds – all clearly very ripe. Long. More expressive than it usually appears to me.
