Just pulled out of the cellar and golly gosh this is one tasty zin!! Dry Creek Valley (Sonoma County) just absolutely delicious. This will go soooo well with my left over Steak , mashed potatoes and veges.

First day grape fruit flavors dominated with some sweetness. Day two more balanced fruit flavors without the overt grape finish. By day three everything balanced out with nice black and red fruit flavors with some spicy notes with a medium finish. Recommend hold this for another year or two or need some air before drinking

Interesting blend. While the label says Zinfandel and it is 77% Zin, the other varietals are 22% Petite Sirah and 1% Carignane. It works but I wonder how the Zin would be with a larger proportion.

This is a slightly atypical Zinfandel that is moderately fruit forward but also touch tannic. It presents with notes of blackberry, cherry plum and spice with hints of tobacco, licorice and vanilla. It has noticeable but minimal oak flavor on the finish. 4.0 Stars.

Very nice, classic zin. Not over oaked so fruit (blackberry, even raison notes) shines through. Red and dark fruit on the nose; mainly dark fruit with leather notes on the palate.

This has high intensity with a rich raspberry flavour, that typical brambly spice, some very prickly acids which seem at odds with the tannic finish. I wonder if a little more time in bottle might press the elements together a bit more. Enjoyable, but seems like it's close to something better.

Impulse purchase @ Costco. 77%-Zinfandel, 22%-Petite Sirah, & 1%-Carignane (14.5% abv - $15). Clear, dark purple-red on the pour. Nose of blackberry & Cherry. Spice & earth on the palate. Medium body, nice acid. Fairly smooth and rounded in the mouth - not too harsh on the tannin. Nice finish.

Medium reddish garnet in color. Full, forward & attractive nose of ripe fruit aromas of cherries & blackberries with spice notes, earthy/dusty, herbs, cocoa/coffee, pepper & minerals in the background. Medium bodied with a good concentration of well balanced & smooth textured, ripe fruit flavors of cherries and blueberries with spices, herbs, minerals & a hint of vanilla. Lingering finish. Drinks quite well at present and appears to be made for mid-term drink-ability, but does develop further with extended airing.

An easy drinking zin from Dry Creek with aromas of grilled plum, crushed blackberry, and vanilla spice. Full bodied with notes of black fruit and dark chocolate. Medium plus acidity and powdery tannins. A touch of smoke and peppery heat of the finish.

Solid 88 bordering on a 89. Very consistent producer of Zins, year after year and '18 does not disappoint. Good upfront fruit, but not jammy. Mild tannins and heat. Would prefer a bit more spice, but that's just me. Very good with food or on it's own.

Bright acidic zin. Cassis and rhubarb with some cherry and herbal tones. Drank on its own, but would be better with food with a bit if fat (cheese would be fine) to cut the acid.

Briary, peppery, and on the precipice of jammy. But there's ample depth and exuberance to blackberry, cherry, and spice notes and it never feels big or overdone. It's rather youthful now but it definitely holds its own nicely.

VinExpo NYC (Javits Center): Seminar tasting. Clear, medium ruby with faded rim. Clean nose with red fruits and flowers. Medium bodied palate shows lots of red fruits, some floral, some earth, a touch of drying tannins, and juicy acidity. The wine needs 1 - 2 years in the cellar to integrate and add a point or two, then will hold for several years.

Nice Zinfandel. On the jammy side. Very Enjoyable but perhaps not memorable. WS 91 pts trifle generous.
