I did not know this is a sparkling wine. Shows that "semi-sweet" character but not over done. Otherwise a basic light reddish wine. I honestly expected a lot worse. Gifted from a work 'white elephant' sort of thing a few years back. Still 'fresh'.

Sweet with light fizz. Pleasant; short finish. Drank a glass lightly chilled then used the rest for hot mulled wine where it worked very well. Could see sangria applications too, but could be a bit cloying; I prefer most of the sweetness to come from the fruit rather than the wine

All I can say is haters gonna hate. This is not a wine for wine snobs. Having said that, this is still a nice drink for a well chilled wine on a hot summer's day. Sweet, which is clearly stated on the back of the bottle, but still has some faint traces of a red wine with a slight effervescence.
Can't really classify as any traditional wine I am familiar with but the low alcohol and deliciously refreshing chilled drink make it a great hot day wine.

Color: Strawberry red. Translucent. Nose: sweet candy red. Flavor: alcoholic grape juice - think a spritz but with much less character. No depth or any real body. Bubbly, but in a flat sort of way. Sweet. Very light bodied. Serve chilled.
Modified original closing comments - they were unnecessarily harsh. That being said, this is still a very poor wine. Not entirely sure what the producers were thinking, but this bottle is so disappointing, it's hard to even categorize this as a wine. This bottle has more in common with a boone's farm bottle than any proper wine.

A low 5.5% ABV wine beverage that is sweet and lightly carbonated. It's like drinking a fizzy grape juice that is slightly spiked. Overpriced and not that good for 14 bones. Picture Welch's sparkling grape juice cocktail with a little bit of alcohol mixed in. Disappointed. Hard to even classify this as wine.

Gifted this to drink on our hotel balcony, and we didn't pay that much attention and were thrown a little bit on the pop, but chilled it a little and ended up finishing it some days later in the proper context/mindset, which really helps. Transparent cranberry red in color with some brown-orange flecks. Aromas of strawberries and cream, and some fortified, raisin notes on top. Lightly sweet and effervescent on the palate with an easy, fruity constitution, lowish acidity and finish, and flavors of strawberry, raspberry, black tea, and orange peel. This would be great with cheesecake.

Fun and bright, but there's little complexity here and it's slight effervescence doesn't quite make up for the overall significant sweet factor. As it opens up, it does become sweeter. disappointing, but a fun glass nonetheless.

Color: Very light red frizzante Nose: Strawberry, raspberry, hints of leather and spice Palate: Light, clean and refreshing Thoughts: This is a sweet wine, but not overly sweet. It has flexibility in it's uses from pairing with cheeses, sipping on the deck, to a desert wine. Given a choice between Banfi Brachetto d'Acqui and this, I prefer the Brachetto d'Acqui.

We start almost every dinner party with a toast of this. The perfect easy-drinking light slightly-sweet red bubbly. Have never had a guest not enjoy it or drain the flute.

Yes it's sweet, and it's a little bubbly, so it won't appeal to everyone. But it was very refreshing compliment to some bold cheeses we had (in this case, Roaring Forties Bleu and Boucheron). Strong nose and palate of strawberry, with pear and cranberry mixed in.

Great stuff for $9! Similar to Rosa Regale or a Lambrusco, and as good as either. Like some notes below say, big wine drinkers probably won't love this but new ones will! Sweed red sparkler and a steal for under 10. Have used this as a starter several times especially with non-wine folks, before moving on to the good stuff.

Different. Big hit at New Year / New Wines event. Not my type though. Seemed to be a wine for those just getting into wine as opposed to a wine for a more serious wine drinker. Though I supposed for the right place / right event, a good fit.
