Very nice, good concentration of pear and green apple flavors. Don't serve too chilled; better at cellar temp to really show off the full palate and depth of flavors. Nice finish. Great with gruyere, green vegetables, quiche and the like.

8/26/2017 SPC Class WK1: Pale yellow in color, moderate aroma intensity - shows some age. Notes of green apple, lime, and light fragrance of buttered bread. Dry, with medium body and lively acidity, medium finish.

Nice small bubbles, and lots of them. Looks great. Nice bread, yeasty nose. Great in the mouth too. Fruity, with good balance and acid. Good fruity finish. 4-12-16-8: 90/100.

Left over from last night. Fine color and bubbles. Looks the part. Not especially forthcoming on the nose, but certainly no "off" notes. Quite flavorful and expressive in the mouth however. Relatively light body, delicate, lively acidity balanced with fine light fruit flavors. Overall very good quality, and q:p ratio. 4-12-16-8: 90/100.

This excellent sparkling wine almost always over-delivers for the the price. Light straw. Fine effervescence. Nose of apple, pear, and yeast. Lively palate of apple, pear, peach, bread, spice, and vanilla. Excellent length. refreshing acidity. Beautiful balance. Good with food and alone.

Good crisp and clean lemon and apple. solid citrus acidity and mineral component. A bit ackward on the finish. May need a little more cellar time. To be fair this was consumed after a NV Bollinger Special Cuvee which blew this from the water.

Light yellow, decent mousse. Pronounced baked apple pie aromas and flavors, along with some toast. A nice quaff at the end of a hot summer day at the beach. Delivers quite nicely for 18 tag.

A solid domestic sparkler. Ripe and easy to drink. Rich, full bodied, and round. Generous with the ginger and toast. A bit short on acidity, leaves an impression of weighty sweetness on the palate.

Light colored with tight bubbles. Apples, yeast and a touch of hazelnut and vanilla on the nose. Tart green apple and yeast on the palate, adding some citrus and vanilla on a lengthy finish. Good match with sushi, especially given its tart acid.

Bubbles tighter than the standard brut. Nose holds a laser focus on yeast and green apple. Palette: laser-like focus on tart green apple with some bitter almond mid-palette.

Smell: Hay/straw, Pineapple, Granny smith apple Taste: This has good acid for a Cali sparkling, Crisp apple and a hint of Citrus, not alot of finish, but what's there is fennel. This is good for a Friday after work sparkler. Made it throught the week Yeah!

Golden yellow color, with nutty aromas of citrus, honey, and bread dough. On the palate, tight flavors of green apple, lime, vanilla cream, toast, and just a hint of ginger show through the lively mousse. There is a firm mineral quality, and crisp acidity keep the flavors together. A nice sparkler.

Toasty, round and full with notes of yellow apple and hints of candied lemon in the background. Spritzy, elegant and clean-cut on the palate, I didn't find this leaned too far towards the sweet side.

Opened this to have it with some morbier. The combination worked well. A sweeter fizz than I prefer, but nice toast and citrus notes. For this price, a bottle to open with an afternoon cheeseboard. Made me smile.

Tasted in the hotel room before dinner at Ruth's Chris in Memphis with the crew. Very tart and sweet. Nice bubbles, but just a little unbalanced. Had the Domaine Carneros Rose the night before so comparatively this bottle was blown away by the Rose. Just somewhat one dimensional. Nothing too exciting and slightly unbalanced. A decent effort though.

Clear faint straw in color with a beautiful mixture of medium & small bubble cascade. Lemon, green apple and tart lime mixed in with good minerality and creamy ginger ale. Lightly buttered toast on the finish. Excellant domestic sparkler.

Annual Tasting 7 Champagnes. Had a great mousse in the glass but closed nose that was slightly perfumed-smelled old and tired in comparison to the others with a slightly hot finish. This champagne was very variable per lot. My #7 and Group #7, retail $15.75.
