- Purple color and aromas of cherry and strawberry. It's somewhat balanced and has flavours of chocolate, cherry, strawberry jam and cloves with a light/medium body - Strawberry and cherry syrup, cola with a bit of milk chocolate, caramel and a hint of spice.

I had this wine at a restaurant on the strong recommendation of both the waiter and the sommelier and I was stunned by it - one of the better new Pinot Noirs I've had in a while. Good red fruit, floral and spice notes, with an incredibly lush and silky balance. Well priced at $45, but very small lots, so not easy to find.

Clear, med. ruby-red with youthful pink rim. Med.-nose of cherry syrup and sweet spice. With air, some peppery cherry fruit with hints of vanilla, raspberry and cinnamon appeared. There was medium viscosity with med + alcohol and a fruity finish. After a few hours, there was even a subtle hint of manure in the background. Enjoyable but not outstanding,

nose- light red fruit mouth - light red fruit - cherries, strawberries, very suave, delicious secondary flavors including light toast and bubble gum that I imagine are oak derivatives. Tasted side by side with a 2005 Burgundy (Beaune Greves Louis Jadot) and i found the PPerry to be a touch lighter and less fruity with possibly more complex secondary flavors - more wood?. Both rated 91. This is a very pleasing wine

Opened not decanted. 2nd bottle of the evening. On the palate: tart strawberry and caramel with a dried fruit and sharp finish. This just doesn't gel for me. Seems really sharp and angular, like jigsaw puzzle pieces that don't fit together. Fair.

Napa-Noma, May 2008: Very light appearance. Black cherry nose. The palate tastes fairly rich but I couldn't wrap my tastebuds around the exact flavor. Okay

Black cherries, cola, chocolate. Overall, lots of fruitiness, light color, pretty good acidity, but a quick finish. Smooth and silky mouth feel. I doubt this is going to get much better, so I'll drink my other bottle within a year or two.

Extremely light red in color. Smell of cherry on the nose. Light bodied. Smooth and silky feel in the mouth. Cherry and mineral flavors. Enjoyable right now. Not complex, but because of good acidity it goes really well with food. Not the best QPR, but I would have it again.

Takes about 15 minutes to open up, but afterward it turns smooth and silky. Cool black cherry fruit, with a touch of fruitcake on the finish. Probably best in 2009 or 2010, but drinks well now.

May have gotten to this too late, but enjoyed it while watching two horror movies late at night alone.

Had it at sun dried tomato in Laguna Beach. Cherry and raspberry, although tin in structure.

Outstanding pinot, top value. Clean berry fruit with a wonderful midpalate. Long and lingering raspberry, cherry finish.

Black cherry cola with a little bit of an acid pull and a meaty finish. It's not saying anything too profound, but it's balanced and mouth filling.
