A nose of bold sweet black cherry and spice, dark garnet in color. A full bodied Zin, with black cherry and smoky peppery flavors, jammy with a long finish. Always good every year. www.winelx.com

This wine is such a bargain; drinks like a $80.00+ wine. Lots of fruit coming through, including cherry and raspberry. Nice spice and herbal notes, including rosemary on the finish. A really pretty Zin.

Popped and poured. Aromas of black raspberry, blood orange, bramble, vanilla and spice. Black raspberry, black cherry, blood orange, vanilla, spice and ripe tannins on the palate. Long finish. Full bodied. A very good QPR. Served with cheese pizza.

Decanted for almost an hour. Aromas of boysenberry, huckleberry, cherry, lavender and kirsch liquor. Boysenberry, cherry, raspberry, blueberry and touch of iron. Ends with a 15-20 second finish with raspberry and boysenberry notes. Still a bit tight and needs more time in the decanter or aging.

Lighter color and body than usual, but still plenty of stuffing. Beautiful nose, floral with both red and dark fruits. Fine tannins, balanced, smooth on the tongue with a long polished finish. Really nice wine at a great PQR.

Another 2021 that is better on day two, this has so much depth and presence. Sonoma Valley/Dry Creek Valley, with ten percent Petite Sirah from the latter, this is more masculine than the elegant 2020. Yet, so ridiculously good. Cherries, blackberries, garrigue, dried rosemary and liquid rock. The body is full and the finish is long. There’s some polished tannin. Another one to age, this is a crazy value. Finishes long. Drink 2025 - 2034.

Really good, purple and black fruits, grilled meat, pepper and spice, long finish. Similar profile to Pagani which is one of my favorites. Long finish. Smooth and ready to drink now but should go 10 more at least.
Update: Day 2 even better, some red fruit coming in also. Best Sonoma county to date. Day 1 was 93 pts.
