  • Flowers, crushed stones, espresso, and red pit fruits create the nose. On the palate, the wine is expressive, silky, long, and deep, with intensity, purity and elegance, finishing with salty-chocolate, black, red and white cherries, plums and a dash of cocoa. The wine leaves you with refined, soft, polished edge in the finish. The wine blends 65% Merlot with 35% Cabernet Franc, 14.5% ABV, 3.55 pH. Drink from 2026-2048. 94-96 Pts.

  • A top quality for price

    The vintage of the century!!!! Yes I know we have already told you this several times but this time it is the real truthful truth! Who are we kidding again? It was very hot but it was very cold, it was very dry but it rained a lot, the grapes are very ripe but with acidity...
    And Darwin said that man and mammoth sperm were adapting to climate change, why not grapes? Primeur wines are all more beautiful than each other, it's true! But that is not enough to make an exceptional vintage. One dimension is missing, the lifespan of the wine. And frankly, let's be honest, who can foresee today, that such a climatically contrasting vintage will not be syrup or vinegar in 20 or 30 years when the 2016, 2018,19,20 will begin their peak?

  • 95 vvPunkte / Sehr floral, mit Veilchen und reifen Früchten, etwas Grand Marnier, zitriscihe Aromen, Kräuter. Im Auftakt vollmundig, reichhaltig, rund, der Wein hat viel Körper, zeigt eine reife, satte Frucht, die Gerbstoffe sind auch hier von höchster Güte, sehr schöne Balancen und im Abgang mit einem rotfruchtigen Finale. Der Wein wird von der selben Equipe wie Château Canon vinifiziert und dieses Team hat es geschafft, Berliquet aus dem Dornröschenschlaf wachzuküssen.   • En Primeur campaign for the 2022 vintage Day Five (Bordeaux): Fresh plums and red berries vie for attention on the nose supported by oak, cedar sweet spice. Medium plus intensity acidity, plums and red berries, slightly okay drying tannins are coarse flour textured with mineral notes. Rather lovely.

  • En Primeur campaign for the 2022 vintage Day Two (Bordeaux): Perfumed, slightly floral top notes, a little sweet spice, red over black plums, touch of raspberry, nice nose. Medium plus intensity acidity, a sense of breadth, red over black fruits, slightly drying woody tannins are fruit saturated, quite simple. Okay.
