Dark gold. Nose of burnt sugar and ripe apricots. Tons of caramelly sugar, apricot, caramelised pineapple. Fair acidity but not quite balancing the richness. Clear botrytis flavours. Decent length bit not everlasting. Pleasant but just a bit crude I'm afraid.

Lacks the complexityand heft of a barsac or sauternes, but it's really quite lovely. Apricots, blood orange, elderflower, quince, and asian pears combine with vanilla and toasty oak. Long finish.

Very strange nose, almost like rotting fruit or perhaps burned (not smoky) things. Someone mentioned it was like a Sri Lankan fruit. It was an intense nose, but with an aroma that I did not like at all. Palate is better but comes across as cloying. Not my style.

Sweet but not too much so, oily mouthfeel, get the botrytis etc, was great to drink with fresh apricot and peach, and nectarine etc (really brings out the fruit), but I was left wanting a real Sauterne.

Light amber in color with a sweet nose of honey and stone fruit. On the palate this is viscous and oily in texture, with a pleasing and balanced sweetness. Very good, and a great value.

Orange in color with peach and apricot aromas with coating mouthfeel of peach and honey. Acid balances the long finish.

Apricots and orange zest. Quite balanced, good sugar content, long finish. Not too complex, but quite nice.

Good; especially for the price; missing complexity to really 'go'. Strong orange/tangerine to start and good acid to balance everything out.
