Scintillatingly good white Burgundy wine. JM was previously the winemaker for Olivier LeFlaive. In my experience, white burgundy needs more time to breath and should be served above 50F. You’ll be rewarded with the creamy and buttery flavor so well-regarded from the #appellation. #93pts

Liked this one a lot. This showed traces of oak that seemed to be well-absorbed. Good, clean, clear palate. Shows good acidity and cut. I know Boillot to be pretty heavy on the oak, but not here. Nice acids, too. Thanks David. Racines with Sarah and the Sugarmen.

Nice mineral nuances, but showing more narrow on the palate than I recall previously, the nose being sufficiently pungent in its austerity to hit those white burg happy places.

Last had on 8/25/12, but last notes were on 1/21/12. The lemon attributes and firms acids are still there. There is quite a bit of life left in this wine (based on this bottle at least) but given the subdued fruit profile I would not go beyond another year or so. Still a solid 90 pointer on this last bottle. This paired well with Panko Tilapia.

Annual Wine Group Summer Event - Loads of Wine (Siggy & Jenny's Place, Mpls, MN): Medium gold color. PnP, drank 1 glass over 15 minutes. I like the nose here, toasty, oak, smoky, stony minerals, citrus. I agree with some others comments on the oak being more prominent than expected, but the palate does handle it fairly well. The palate comes off as medium bodied, citrus, oak, lemon, some earth and a bit of burnt rubber in there as well. Nice balance overall, medium plus finish.

Nose: Originally quite toasty but with air the lemon qualities really come through (almost a candied lemon quality). Some stone mineral also present. Palate: Somewhat linear with subtle lemon flavors. Light finish. Overall a pretty feminine PM that, while not overly inspiring, is still quite pleasant.

Drunk last week. I agree with most of what is written below; lemon/stone profile with a few complex touches, nice definition and harmonious acidity. 91+

A bit toasty and woody initially. Some rockiness and salt water notes emerge. Not too acidic right now. Slightly rich, but not very deep if that makes sense. Lemony. Good, not great, but worth it's asking price. Maybe better in a few years.

Clear light yellow. Fresh nose with dried flowers, freshly squeezed lemon and hints of licorice root. Not as fat and buttery as I've come to expect from this vineyard, but much more precise and delineated. Must be the vintage showing. Very nice.

Perfectly aged. Great medium body. Low alc. Very burgundy. Fruit is starting to fade. Mostly stone and lemon left. I wish CA could do this more often.

Disappointed. Agree probably not ready yet as the oak overpowering.

Still a bit too much toast and oak for my liking. I will let the remaining bottles sit longer.

Excellent drinking now - oak not integrated, but the fruit and body can stand up to it
