PNP. cork ok. color gold. nose shows secondary aromas of butterscotch and caramel, and this is all that I taste on the palate. the acid is there but the freshness is not in this bottle. got it as a holiday gift so not sure of the provenance. not my bag baby

after loving the 06, this one feel short of my expectations. The oak overpowered the fruit and my friend thought the acidity was too high as well. Perhaps those components would have come together better with more cellaring.

Stereotypical chardonnay/white burgundy: rich, but with adequate acidity. Drank well almost immediately after opening, and then improved over the next 3 hours until it was gone.

Light golden tone with vibrant aromas of grapefruit, lemon and toasty almonds. Zesty citrus flavors intertwined with a firm backbone of minerality are supported by the structure of careful oak fermentation and aging.

Like most of the non-grand cru Jadots I've had, this is simple, to the point, and easy to drink, but doesn't really show much depth or personality. I don't know if it's worth the price of ~$20, but it is always a reliable go-to if you want to, say, buy a gift for someone without offending them and that they will enjoy if they like white wine pretty much at all.

Very light yellow color; Lemon aromas and flavors with a short acidic finish. Rather simple but drank well as an apertif. Tasted at a Louis Jadot Burgundy dinner.

A: Midgold. Not too viscous in the glass. N: Brioche butter on the nose. JTH gets sweet lemon meringue. P: Primaries are scarce. I have asparagus and green beans (pyrazines). Have citrus in the form of a waxy lemon peel which is also offering decent acidity to deal with the overwhelming burnt taste. Creme Brûlée screamingly obvious here. The barrel was well toasted.
C: Not complex at all. Got for $10 on a discount. JTH would buy again at that price. Didn't seem at all interesting and tasted from a Riedel Sommelier Chardonnay glass instead of my usual ISO.

13.0% alcohol. This is a delightful everyday drinker. Light yellow color. Pretty nose of minerals, chalk, pear, and a touch of lemon zest. In the mouth, racy but also a hint of supple richness. Crisp acidity. The emphasis is on the fruit and minerality all the way. Very pleasant indeed. A-

Nose of lemons and green apples, with a tiny hint of oak on the finish. The palate is clean and refreshing, with notes of apples and melons transitioning to lemons in the mid-palate, as the acidity takes over. The finish is all acid, with just a hint, again, of oak that takes the edge off. This is a really nice bottle.

Fresh melon, pear, green apple fruit....crisp and steely, lemon/lime citrus acid, salt stone. Nice balance of lemon/mineral/honey spice...with just a touch of creamy oak. Nice spice on the finish, though a little short. I could drink this everyday.....

Light golden color. Nose of sweet pear, apple, lemon peel, and a very light touch of smoky oak. Palate: zingy green apple, white peach, lime, and a little brush of butter. A hint of flinty stone. Moderate length. Simple and straightforward. A tasty, uncomplicated food wine.

Nose shows green apple and Bartlett pear, inviting. Abundant flavors of tree fruit, like the nose, but without as much pear. Some steeliness. Crisp. Well-balanced, decent finish.

straw color. Light, grassy. Aroma of pears, lichi. Fairly typical, straightforward pouilly fuisse, nothing special, but acceptable for the price.

Fine, but unremittingly boring. Slightly over-acidic finish. Not sure of the point of this wine. Poor value.
