This 10 year old Sauvignon Blanc that was still going strong. It was a nice start to a fun dinner with friends. I like Spottswoode's wines but I prefer the Sauvignon Blanc younger.

Tasted with a '06 and '13. Group favorite! Stone fruit more pronounced than herbaceous / grassy qualities. Drinking very well right now. Bright, round and complex

Light pale in color. 14.1% ABV. The fruit is sourced from both Sonoma County and Napa County. Lemon, pear and flowers on the nose. Medium body and light acidity. Vibrant, exotic, rich and creamy. Cantaloupe, pineapple, lemongrass, lychee fruit and a spice component on the palate. Super wine that would be great with or without food. Drink over the next year or so.

Crisp acidity and ample fruits. Easy to drink and a delicious wine to pair with lighter fare during the warmer months. Enjoyed this and wish I had more!

Benchmark for sblanc in ca and this does not disappoint! Grapefruit, Lemongrass, citrus, just enough spice. Feels a bit heavier on the pallet than previous vintages.

Spicy big wine. Tropical fruit - pineapple, canteloupe, spiced peach cider, some nice grassy minerality, but yellow stewed grass, not green styling at all. The palate is viscous and shows some Rhone qualities in terms of complexity, body and spice drive. Solid finish with unique heat - yeah heat from a SB. Great with food, still good acid but not "tart" at all. Golden raisin, vanilla and burnt honey. Excellent. But maybe not worth the coin; don't spend this much of Cali SB ever in my book

I confess to using part of this for cooking, but wow--what a great SB. Grassy, grapefruit, plenty of zing but also some nice hints of tropical fruit that rounded what could have been harsh edges. Better for me than the '08 Araujo.

Very nice. Bright fruit, a little sweet for my tastes but this is an excellent Sauv Blanc.

This wine has more depth than just about any other Sauvignon Blanc in Napa!

I love this wine. It's more concentrated than the 2007 and it's getting better and better. One of the best sav blancs in California.

I didn't expect this wine to be as good a sthe 2007 but it has turned out better. Fleshy, round and well balanced. Great SB.
