What do you know, best showing yet if my memory serves me right. Still enough structure to go a few more years. Nothing profound here, but the age does it well.

Nice fecund aromas with slight oak hints still in the mix Cherry, farmyard, chocolate. Nicer acidity on taste with nice grip from the tannins. Good length on finish - 20-30 seconds. Oak still needs to integrate a bit but definitely approachable and enjoyable.

I had one bottle last week with grilled Cornish hens and another bottle this week with lobster rolls. I like this better than my last note suggested. While light, there is balance and purity, something that Burgundy seems to do better than most other pinot noir producing areas. This will continue to drink well for the next few years at least.

Really nice light raspberry and autumn notes. Crisp acidity give a nice light fruit touch. A nice long lingering finish. This is a wonderful wine, light on its feet and a great example of Jadot.

Delicious! Light color belies the rather complex array of flavors on the palate of this wine. Nose can be expressive at times, but its youthfulness shows more evident on the nose overall, hidden a bit, versus the layers of flavor. Rhubarb, tart strawberries, a bit of musk and baking spice - really great, and tremendous for the price, without a doubt. One of those '07 Burgs that is just great drinking right now.

This is a very descent Côte de Beaune red, from a solid producer, and an approachable vintage. After going through most of my bottles, the last four I decided to Coravin. This bottle I drank over 6 weeks, and the showings were consistent over the time - so no question Coravin is a great system.
This maturing Pinot has vivid red berries notes on the nose. True that there's not much complexity to it, but the structure is great (soft tannins, integrated alcohol, great acidity), the fruit is very pure (very little trace wood), and there’s great balance. Nice, pleasant medium finish. Great call for a weekday dinner pour.

I agree with a previous taster; this is comletely ready, unlike Jadot, but very like the light vintage, Very pleasant wine, it has the tell-tale spicyness and rusticity, but the fruit is very pleasant and forward. Not a complex wine, but a very well made pinot noir from Burgundy. Drink t cool, 15 degrees C is recommended, I think. Will keep, but not improve imho. Bindslev, summer vacation.

Monthly Tasting Group HWS #077; Round the Corton hill in Burgundy (By BD): Carmine red brown. The bouquet is a bit rusty and spicy. On the palate juicy red fruits like strawberries. Ok acidity and silky soft, completely melted tannin. No extremely complex but certainly a very, very pleasant easy going Burgundy. I am a bit surprised about the drinking window in CT, because, although no real hurry, this bottle was completely ready.

Very generous on the nose. Complex red raspberries, dry sweet spices. Clean, pure, no oak. Great intensity of flavors, mainly raspberries, strawberries and smoke. Great mineral acidity with live backbone. Tannins are ripe and pleasant, and well integrated. Medium+ finish. Great value, an amazing 1er that is drinking very well now. This has potential to go for many more years though. Nevertheless, it's quite nice now young, juicy and fresh.

PnP and drank over the course of a 2 hour dinner. Started out a tad beaujolais-like in a grapey way, but gained elegance and pinot-sity over the course of dinner. Lots of dark fruits and earthy undertones on the palate. Very nicely balanced and interesting. Pretty easy to drink today, this should improve over the short to medium term and drink well the rest of the decade. Another very very nice CdB Jadot at a very reasonable price. Jadot rules the under $35 category in Burgundy. 89+

can't keep my hands of of this one. should have bought a few cases. bright airy flavors with wonderful Savigny backbone. this one is a little more compacted, but i'll chalk that up to the weather here. nice persistence and purity. this is very solid wine and should benefit from a few years in the cellar as the fruit can handle it i think. but also excellent now with some air.

I've had a few nice '07 Savignys from Pavelot and Girard over the past few months, so was anxious to try this one. Not impressed. Lacking that pure, fresh red fruit that I have come to expect here. Somewhat green and even a bit moldy...perhaps more rigorous sorting was needed.

Rather closed aromatically, but with time in the glass, slowly a but of musty earth emerges. The palate is really fleshy right now, mostly sweet, ripe plummy and cherry fruit. Primary. While young, easy to drink and pretty good buy under $30 recently. Leaving the rest alone now.

It's fully mature and continues to drink well. On the lighter side and not a lot of complexity, but it's very enjoyable.

Dry and somewhat withdrawn & hard, but there is still fruit here, pleasant enough, though quite one-dimensional; I do not see this going anywhere.

Nose of Blackberry and hints of sous-bois. More fruit oriented. On taste it had deep blackberry flavours with a nice long finish. Good intensity.

Very solid but not quite up to the BH note. Light color but very good flavor and intensity. Needs a good hour of air to open up.
