PnP. Certainly on the back side of its preferred curve, but still showing enough freshness to suggest it'll hold here for another 2-4 years; this bottle, anyway. Perfect at two hours open; elegant, fully mature, nice/interesting and tasty tertiary development. Red/dark red fruits, good sense of place, grape and time. Drink now, not likely to improve. recommended
PNP at the restaurant and was great from the first sip to the last. Impeccable balance on the palate and the wine evolved with each sip. Velvety and elegant finish.

A solid Barolo with layers of flavors including brambly fruit, leather, tar, black pepper and dusty tannins. This wine is coming into a good point right now.

Clean translucent ruby; light tar nose; light black cherry palate, fine dusty tannins, and cleansing acidity makes for a clean finish with the tannins drying it out a bit. Im not sure what to make of this because on one hand it seems well made...clean with great acid structure, but the fruit and complexity are asleep at the wheel. Given the acid it has the stuffing to improve a lot with age - not unusual for a barolo...Either way, I agree with SDM, let them sleep.

Four hours of air under this one and it is still tough an tannic. This wine may develop into something good, but for now it is not worth popping. I'm a big Barolo fan, but this one didn't do much for me at all.

Dette var litt skuffende, en sliten barolo, lite tanniner til å støtte vinen, den blir rett og slett for slapp og uinspirert. For sent?
