From magnum. Probably the best nose of any wine I’ve ever had, just a heavenly mix of smoke, ham, tropical pineapple, butter and so many more intriguing things.
The palate was more straight forward and mineral, not quite as spectacular as the beautiful nose but still a wonderful wine.

This started off nicely. Appealing nose and great minerality and freshness. Ross guessed it was a 2011. Later in the day, it lost most of the nose, and the palate became lemony and a little sharp. Going to try another bottle to see if it's a trend.

So the first taste was "oh no, its oxy and gone over the hill." So hints of hazelnut and such. But hey, I decided to see it through.
And now, three hours in, just gorgeous. No oxy. Not pronounced on the nose just absolutely serene on the palate. In harmony, great length and depth. Truly great wine. Glad I have more, if just a few.

One from the back cellar. Beautiful smoke and power, length and depth on the palate. Has very much eased into itself. Most of the rich oak expression (and fruit) has integrated completely. Amazing length of finish. Great stuff here.

Beautiful mixed citrus, oyster-shell minerals, lovely flowers, a little buttery oak, white eraser, flintiness that's often found in Puligny Montrachet, are all here in a perfect balance. Acidity is pleasantly high, yet it's not sharp. Overall, this is elegant yet manages a very long finish. Label shows alc 14%, but I strongly doubt that it's that high.

Ditto previous notes: Nice clean, round, smooth mineral and lemon palate, but a bit lacking in acid structure.
I splash decanted this on the way to a sushi restaurant with a friend, and by the time we got there and reopened it, the wine had already faded a bit. It wasnt oxidized, but the body had lightened. If youre cellaring id pull one out now for your own opinion, and probably drink these up in the next few years.

Elegant mineral depth on the nose. Classy display of oak treatment. Positive and bright acidity. There is some citrus behind it all. Very nice flint on the finish.

Damn premox.... another one lost. Almost 80% of the one I bought from Kermit Lynch are bad. Storage was perfect, in case anyone wonders.

Very clean. Some concentration but light. Crisp. Drinking well now. Nice minerality.

Good wine, not the most subtle or stylish of wines but sturdy, complete and flavoursome. Feels like a CM V rather than a PM PC.

Elegant but fairly light and not showing a whole lot now. Probably needs more time as the body seems there.

Initially a little thing, but great minerality, salty, fishy, great balance, very good.

Bright lime and lemon, with honeyed texture, feels like the oak is starting to stand up more. Tight and focused acidity. Lengthy finish. Worth $90.
