High quality basic Riesling for sure and what is most remarkable is the display of chalk and clay on the back end of the palate giving this wine distinction. The citrusy fruit is lively, the acidity is refreshing so this makes for a good aperitif will cooking for example. Enjoyed over 4 days with the mineral marks showing more and more through over the days.

(9%) Bright golden yellow in the glass and similar bright lemon and floral on the nose. More of the same on the palate with light mineral notes. This one is just a tad sweet and showed lemon rock acidity throughout on a crisp, tart, slightly sweet but short finish. Nothing complex here but an easy drinker that paired very well with Thai food. Looks like this retails around $12 and while not a QPR star I think this one delivers fair value on the price point…

Unscrewed and poured. Bright yellow gold. Nose shows cut grass, lemon verbena and a hint of honey. This is a blast of tart fruit refreshment from the word go. Tart green apple, lemon and some nice blood orange on the finish. Medium bodied, and not terribly complex, but easy drinking with refeshing acidity.
I just learned about this line which is the cuvee/ negociant bottlings made or overseen by Johannes Selbach. The Selbach-Oster bottlings remain the SVD's and this one offers a "dry" and this Kabinett. Lovely drinking with Hawaiian pizza.

In this wine you will experiance perfumed aromas of tropical fruits, citrus and flowers. On the palate you will experience a lively, well balanced acidity, semi-sweet essence of apricots and peaches with a slight minerality on the finish.

Hello pineapple! Big tropical fruit aromas. Plump and juicy on the palate with a wet stone finish. Nice. Enjoyed with salmon and asparagus.
