A southern rhone style blend, this wine has a reddish-purple color with cherries, eucalyptus and some leather on the nose. On the palate, this is a very fruit forward wine with lots of red fruit (mostly cherries), soft tannins and med. acidity. It's not too alcoholic, which is one of my complaints about so many southern Rhones. On the finish there's a touch of cinnamon. Overall a very drinkable wine. I'd have rated it much higher if had longer, more complex finish.

Good Grenache fruit followed by a "punch" from the other grapes. Red fruit is bright then the finish takes it home. Not as good as I remember the first time, but still good It tastes like strawberry.

Good, but not great. Consistent over two days, but no noticeable improvement on Day 2. Notes of red berries, especially cranberry. Some light spice. Mild tannin. Fairly one-note. Was hoping for a bit more complexity.

An elegant Washington take on a Southern Rhone blend. Transparent ruby color; interesting nose with funk at first, wisteria, cranberries and pomegranates; a bit tart on popping, but this came into balance with airing; red cherry and berry flavors, and nice minerals; tannins build through the very long finish, ending in spices, herbs and cherries. It got much better as it sat in the fridge - give this time to open.

Had in Boston at Hungry Mother's restaurant with an excellent meal. It paired well and was very much enjoyed. On its own, this may not be over the top, but as a food wine it brought out the flavors nicely. The cherries and the tannins dominated; bold taste that blended nicely and had balance.

This wine makes me think of summer! The nose is all strawberries/raspberries and cream, with complementary background notes of white pepper, mint and fresh green herbs.
On the palate, this is smooth as silk. The strawberry and cream notes come through with cracked black pepper. There's nice acidity on the front of the palate, but it does not carry through, unfortunately. Ultimately, on the palate, this feels like a bit of a one-note wonder, but remains an easy, relaxing drink.

Light styled Rhone blend with Washington qualities forward. Clean fruit. Ripe but restrained. Typical G/S nose but with much more purity of fruit and little earthy funk. Tasty, but uninteresting. Easy drinker that would be great for $20 and under, not so good at $30.

Light crimson/purple colour. Not a large nose with light cherry and strong alcohol. The flavour hits your mouth with a big splash of alcohol, citrus and dark cherry. Mellows out with long finish that leaves a mouth watering and smooth cherry flavour. Velvety on the mouth.

I agree that this is not the most complex wine ever. However, there is a fair amount going on here, and it's a good, fun wine to drink. Aromas and flavors are primarily cherry, with some other earth/leather stuff going on. Hardly a fruit bomb. Short to medium finish. Not a great QPR at $24, but a solid wine nonetheless.

Pnp. Color, light ruby. I didn't get anything on the nose at all, so that was a bit disappointing. On the palate, this was light to medium body with a very nice taste which I enjoyed. Just a bit hard to score without any smell whatsoever.

Raspberry and black currant on the nose, with hints of earth and smoke. There's some pepper and floral notes at the end. Rich and juicy on the palate, with lots of raspberry and black currant. The earth comes on in the mid-palate, and it finishes with flower flavors.

Deep red color. Dark fruit and spice on the nose. Lots of fruit in the flavor profile, with some tannins in the background. The fruit is also balanced with a bit of spiciness and earthiness. All in all, a good wine that should probably lay down for another year.

Deep dark red in color. Nose is a lot of red fruit, which I think is more about its youth than anything else. Initially palate is all dark fruit, and somewhat overwhelming. Both ETOH and acidity are out of balance. With a spin through the vinturi and some air in the glass, more of the GSM profile comes out, some strawberry and spice/herbal notes, and the heat/acidity back off a bit. This is a very young wine, and will get a lot better with 12-18 months in the bottle. I don't know if it will ever be a particularly special wine, but it's a good sip either way.

Very approachable on the pop & pour considering its youth. Going back to it after some time open, it actually seemed to have gotten lighter. Not hugely complex, but good fruit and nice as a weeknight wine. I enjoyed this and wish I had picked up more when it was on special at my LWS.

Nose is clean, medium, with strawberry, herbs (this has got to be the cabernet franc I last tasted showing through) and a touch of secondary -- barrel.
Palate is dry with no noticeable alcohol until the very back, and then just a tweak. The tannins are low, the acidity is medium -, the fruit dominates the palate and is medium with a very clear showing of Grenache coming through.
Overall this is good wine, youthful and should be consumed now. Works at $25.
