  Dark reddish brown color. Aromas of brown sugar, molasses, and maple syrup. Flavors of rich raisins, almonds, and flan the custard- a.k.a. crème caramel. Very sweet with a long finish. A delicious dessert wine!

  Purple inky color. Immediately upon opening, there were aromas of cassis, blackberry, black raspberry, plum, smoke, and meat. The palate offered cassis and black pepper. After decanting for 1+ hour, I started to see aromas emerge of sweet tobacco, violets, and chocolate as well. Also, flavors of blackberry, plum, brown sugar, nutmeg, and caramel chocolate blossomed. Tannins waltz effortlessly through the mouth, with a long, lingering finish. An excellent Syrah.
