wmn: The aromas on this wine have probably changed the most of all 2013 Denner wines since release. Dusty blueberry, savory bacon, smoked herbs and sandalwood are explosive on first whiff. The palate is round and incredibly layered with more blue fruit flavors, hoisin, and just a hint of vanilla. not sure it needs food to pair with it as it’s just drinking great right now, but if inclined – stretch culinary skills and try tackle Oaxacan Mole

wmn: Wow, just Wow. An explosion of violets, mesquite, seared red meat, and white pepper introduce this hedonistic beast. The palate is filled with savory flavors of blackberry, sassafras, wild herbs and black anise. This finish has awesome texture that is supported with velvety tannins and flavors that last and last. This bad boy just screams for a bone-in tomahawk ribeye, Santa Maria style tri tip or a down home beef stew.
wmn: The nose is packed with black cherry, strawberry and peppercorn notes and continues to get better with more air. The palate is dense abut lively with flavors of blueberry, clove and an uplifting citrus note on the super long finish. For this beauty, brine a pork chop, fire it on the grill, and serve over a bed of wilted swiss chard – do not skimp on the garlic
