Decanted just before serving. Californian terroir meets Burgundian winemaking. Yellow and green in the glass. Tropical fruits, minerality and toasted oak on the nose. Toffee, lemon and slight oak on the palate. A surprising (but not bad) amount of acidity on the finish.
Even better an hour or two later, with lemon meringue dominating the nose and a smoother, longer finish with the oak gone and the acidity diminished.
Definitely benefited from decanting and staying chilled the whole evening.
This is drinking wonderfully right now, but I think it will also age well several more years.

This is everything I hope for in a Sonoma Coast Chardonnay -- tropical and green fruits on the nose, minerality with a slight backbone of acidity on the palate, and evolving over the course of the evening into more nutty notes and unctuous mouthfeel. I feel like this is drinking in it's prime right now.

Disappointing -- this was way over the hill, "disintegrated" is the best word to describe it, consistent with the previous review.
