Medium+ Acidity and Tannins, combined with weak flavours of black currant and black cherry and some herbaceous notes. Although the wine’s appearance is Ruby, I may have kept it for too long as the fruit intensity has declined. Drink now, not suitable for further ageing.

This wine (89% merlot, 11% cabernet franc) needs further aging, the high tannins at the moment still overpower the fruit flavors (black cherry, bramble). Also flavors of smoke and tobacco. Aromas of raspberry, bramble, caramel and charred wood.
