In general I refer to my tasting note from 15 October 2021. What's different: The color is medium ruby. Now I can find aromas and flavors of leather and menthol in addition. Today, I would say the tannins are high and silky. The acidity is also high. The body is medium. There is no need to decant. It's ready to drink with at least a decade ahead of it. Glass I used: Riedel Old World Syrah
Bold and powerful for a sangiovese but w. Enough elegance to stand out from other ST. One for the long run given its tannic structure and Esther unintegrated oak. Will not open next until 2030.

Herbal notes with dried sage. Dried cranberries, tobacco, underbrush, mushroom. Drying tannins (bordering on harsh tannins). Suspect this will age well for several more years. Will open another in 5 years or so.

Beautifully smooth wine drinking fantastically right now. Acid and fruit in perfect harmony. A special wine.

Decanted for ~5 hours.
Red fruit, baking spices, acidity is high but certainly not problematic. With some maturation this could be tremendous, several more points possible.
