  • Field blend. MLF in barrel (12 months?) 12-18 months before bottling. Fermentation in new wood.

Amazing lifted nose. Very attractive new wood, red and blue fruits – great definition and clarity. Has a grand cru feel about it – spicy PN quality, herby, floral, spicy, fruity and ¬woody. Pretty gorgeous and clean.

The palate shows excellent volume, and is notably elegant off the bat. Very open and shows real finesse, lovely acidity and plentiful savoury grip and sandy tannins. Pretty fruit, real elegance and clarity; open and spicy. FINE. Woody, very long, layered and complex.
