Very pale yellow. Aroma of lemon peel, lemonade, honey and white pepper. Viscous mouthfeel at palate entry with lychee, lemon, and pineapple, followed by slate, honey and sweet pineapple. Long finish of dried apricot, sweet kiwi, caramel, vanilla, and white pepper. Surprisingly full bodied and complex Chablis, great balance between high tone acid with mild sweetness.

Very, very good for a village Chablis. Probably due to vintage. Very intense, both on nose and palate. Very acidic, lemony classic Chablis. Against oven baked salmon and sweet tasting carrots it was quite sour and intense. I loved it but another found it too sour and overshadowed the fish. Much more balanced against strong soft rind cheese (Camembert and Pié d’Angloys). In fact with a sip between each bite it really enhanced the cheese, which tasted more intense and aromatic and a little sweeter. Excellent Chablis!

Had this wine in a "Vielles Vignes" version with Kosher stamp. Well made classical Chablis. Lean and with good acidity. White fruit and stone. Long pleasant aftertaste.
