Really nice - agree with the notes from MC2, except that this bottle was definitely not on it's last legs. Surprisingly neutral at opening, deepened and softened with an hour of air. Lovely.

This is getting to last legs so I recommend drinking up. It's got some great deepness to it. It's oil and spice and tar and a bit of charred wood. Lots of evolution going on. The wine ten minutes later is starting to get some black plums. It's an interesting one. Would like to try others by this producer.

Predominately if not all, Champoux. 61% Cabernet, 38% Syrah. Red and black fruit aromas. coffee roast, nut oils. harmony and pronounced intensity. American Oak on this, but as this blend is now from Phinny Hill, French is the program. ruby core to a garnet rim, with a green nuance of complexity to the palate. mmm
