Cloudy, stewed berries, with ripe leather savoury and hawflakes umami. Light and clear acidity with velvet texture, and possible wet cardboard. slightly corked.but still great w roast duck!

Mid-light garnet ruby with brick rim. Expressive rounded nose of dry fruits, late florals, dry autumn forest, berries and meaty leather. The palate is focused, savoury and surprisingly barnyard. Nice balance of acid, fresh mushrooms, soft fruits, apricot skin and a seam of bright mint. Finishes with lingering sweetness, ashy black earth and sappy stems, but very pleasant persistence and focus. Not a huge wine, but effortlessly poised and spunky.

Sadly in advanced decline. Fading fruit and losing vinosity.

Garnet in glass, stewed berries, lifted spice. Dry fruit, dusty floral, sappy forest, savoury. Light, bright acid, mushroom and umami. Soft funk and overripe apricot, soft mint. Finishing gentle and balanced. Easy, developed, and drinking nicely.
