Greenish gold color. Aromas of pears and pineapples, tea leaves and minerals. Ripe, nicely balanced fruit in the mouth with very good good depth and length. Rich and somewhat oily on the palate. While still delicious and very intact, the wine is at the very end of its prime drinking period. Drink up!

Similar notes as last tasting in May of 2017. The only clue to the vintage was the color. Still delicious. Citrus, peaches, pears, melons, and hints of minerals and floral. Medium to full bodied and well balanced with nice complexity and acidity. The long finish ended with some sweetness that enhanced the food pairing. Very impressive!

Opened but not decanted 30 minutes prior to meal. Golden yellow. Nose of honeysuckle and tropical fruit. Ripe tropical and white fruit on palate with oak in background; slight oxidation on night 1's finish that was considerably more prominent on night 2. Still an excellent wine (night 1), but definitely time to drink up.

Compared to my experience in December, this one opened up today seemed to have quite a bit more fruit to it. I think these are probably starting to undergo a little bit of bottle variation, so if you have these I would start making a plan to drink them!

A touch more complex than the 4//14/20 bottle and a pronounced lychee quality to the fruit.
