Ripe peach and apple with some tropical and anise hints. Very good density, good+ length. I like the balance for now, but find it soft on the finish, so will drink my remaining bottles within the next 3-4 years.

Probably shouldn't have opened this tonight but I was just a tad short with one btl for three of us prior to the Jackson Browne show plus some waiter pours. Finished just over 1/2 of it and gave the rest to my favorite waiter Jessica to keep. Another great btl showing a little fat after following the Dauvissat but still lovely. Tremendous depth and flavor range. Wish I had more time to spend with it but the opening act was scheduled to start in 15 minutes when we left OA.

Lots of ripe fruit showcasing peach with some tropical notes. Good power and purity that comes across as slightly opulent, making me think this best for the near- and medium-term.

at first I was worried by an acrid note in the finish, but this blew off during the meal and the wine was what it is: a delicious Puligny.

Delicious with crusted salmon, and braised leaks, artichoke, and fennel.
