The 2009 Chianti Colli Senesi is a striking, fleshy Chianti graced with exquisite red berries, flowers and spices. It shows terrific mid-palate sweetness to match a soft, caressing finish. Floral notes add brightness on the close. This is an excellent choice for drinking over the next few years. The 2009 is one of the finest vintages I can remember tasting here. The Chianti is 92% Sangiovese and 8% Merlot. Anticipated maturity: 2011-2016.

Cherry pronounced fruit with that Chianti traditional flavour. Needs an hour decanted to bring its true spirit out. Great buy.

A light wine. Dark berries and some tannins. A little grey taste.

Bløtt anslag, kort smak og fryktelig dårlige integrerte tanninner. Ikke godt kjøp i det hele tatt.

Little funky smell on the nose, I like! Fresh red berries and nice acidity combined. Well made - good price at 8 euros.
