  • I had no idea what this was blind. I even felt it had a touch of oak with the sub-tropical fruits. Reasonable loading of acidity meant that I was off with the new World chardonnays. So disappointed with myself but it didn't show any of the traits i normally associate with riesling. However, this is supremely delicious and incredibly moreish. Need to buy some more and older examples to see how it ages - look at the recommended drinking dates on here..... Till 2040? No idea, but definitely age-worthy.

  • Completely inscrutable, I thought. Much too much acidity at first, though that seemed to calm down after some time. Eventually was quite lovely.
