Pale straw in color, this wine showed ripe pear and apple on the nose. The mouth feel brought supple acidity and minerality. The finish was somewhat short and choppy.
Tasted at the Barmes-Beucher Vintner's Dinner at Bistro St. Tropez in Philly with winemakers Max and Sophe Barmes, this wine paired very well with our second course of matelotte de poissons with eel, perch, trout, glazed onions and mushrooms, parpadelle pasta.
