I opened this Friday night and finished it off today. It was very nice both times, with ripe black cherry, black plum and pronounced oak aromas. Medium acidity, medium tannins and high alcohol (14.5%). Really nice, with plenty of life left.

Tasting pour. This 100% Tempranillo is as youthful as some that are a couple of years younger. It is really nice and lush, possibly due to the hotter vintage, with black cherry, black plum and mocha flavors. Medium acidity, medium tannins and high alcohol (14.5%). It is aged 18 months in French oak and then finished in the bottle for three years. It is drinking well now and should continue to improve for several more years. A really good value.

Berries, cherry and chocolate. Aroma it required almost 2 hours to open up. Not long in the mouth, but smooth, nice taste. Not much body but nice dark red

Smells more old school, rustic and gamey. Good length and complexity on palate.

Earthy and tary notes and then rather stiff on the back of the palate.
