Coravin fun - Dom. de Chevalier tasting (E & M's in the rocks, Sydney): On the nose the wine is rich, jammy black fruit but not to the point of being overtly concentrated and almost savoury over cream, vanilla. Quite old school Aussie with some sweet spice. In the mouth the wine is rich, dense, thick, blackberry fruit, juice, talc textured tannins, approachable, nice in an old school way.

not aged very well, drank 2014 in 2022 - most of the fruit was gone, but still ok.

Appearance - inky, medium plus ruby.
Nose - ripe black fruit. Blackberry. Vanilla, a bit of alcohol on nose. Feel some eye burn. Medium intensity.
Palate - ripe black fruit. Very jammy, feels thick in mouth. Some pepper lingers on palate. Feels balanced. Medium tannins. Feels balanced.
I like this. My kind of Shiraz. Sense it can age a bit. Would be curios how it shows in another 12 months.
