  Fairly light bouquet with red berries and some mineral impressions. Same on the palate, herbs, a firm amount of fresh acidity and light tannin, fairly short finish. Overall a bit meager wine.

  Monthly Tasting Group HWS; Cornas (By JdB): Beautiful bouquet with red and dark berries and mineral impressions. Same on the palate, firm and juicy acidity, slightly sticky tannin and some bitterness in the finish. Elegant, but one of the least impressive wines of this evening.

  Retailer tasting; Rhône: Beautiful and complex bouquet with iron and minerals. On the palate a full bodied wine with still youthful and sticky tannin. Juicy fruits, pleasant acidity and a good length. Will probably improve with another 3+ years of ageing.

  Way too young. Mega tight and doesn’t give anything away. But there is plenty of classic cornas material behind the wall. Will undoubtedly be a very good wine in 5 years time.
  Day 2: left in open bottle over the night. This evening much more “gentle”. Not the tannic wall of yesterday but still nowhere near the smoothness and complexity of the 2009 Granit 30 I drank a few weeks ago. Don’t go near these wines before at least 8-10 years!
