Smells ripe and tropical, showing lemon, orchard fruit, and a matchsticky aspect that dissipates with air. A medium body, tactile mouthfeel, and an incisive cut frame crisp green apple and quince flavors. Good QPR.

Second Sunday Group: Bandol (Frank's): Double blind. Billowy white fruit and mineral notes. Light body, orchard fruit and tropical tones. Bright acidity. Drank more like a pinot blanc than chardonnay.

Simple but clean Chardonnay with a bit of apple and crisp citrus profile. Light body and color. Nothing great but decent simple French Macon with a QPR that would make it a nice party wine.
