Chardonnay is such a versatile grape that it can be produced in any number of styles. This is a fruity, easy-drinking Chard that will likely not take home any gold medals. It's not really that bad, though. Nice golden color, scant nose, very fruit-forward, with lots of melon and mango, not much apple or citrus. Slightly sweet. There's a bit of oak, if you look for it. A little thin, and certainly not a complex wine, but it goes down easy. Definitely not a food wine, but rather something you would serve your non-winedrinking friends at a party. This set me back $4.49, so I am not making many demands. If you like fruity, non-demanding wines, you might like to try a bottle.
