Nose of spice, bit of rubber and barnyard. Dense wall of black fruit and rubber/barnyard. Saline, with medium plus grip tannins and low-med acid. 13% alc. Rhone-like in its density and the barnyard Brett only adds to this impression. if someone had poured this saying it was Vacqueyras I would enjoy it saying “young wine, old-school winemaking, a bit stinky”. Not bad at all, but Brett is a flaw for me in Pinot. Hopefully just an off bottle/barrel.

This was very good. Pressed violets, washed berries, dark soil tones and faint cinnamon spice. Started quite airy and gained core weight with air, becoming more sappy but always remained light on its feet with good definition for it's class. An excellent village Vosne, would buy again.

Bright red cherry and berry start-to-finish with savory spice. Medium + weight, better length, even better yet balance and grace.

sappy with black cherry and dried flowers. Incredibly dense right now, but approachable. I think this will be great in 2-3 years.
