Neat little half bottle. Nose and palate was smoked figs, eucalyptus, brambly raspberry cola, shoe leather, black licorice, and a kiss of black peppercorns with neutral oak tannin finish. Really didn't need a decant and was rocking out of a 375. This half bottle didn't stand a chance and was gone after 30 minutes.

The bouquet opened with dusty rose and cedary spice, as notes of sweet strawberry and crushed stone developed in the glass. On the palate, I found a silky expression, contrasted by a core of minerals and spice, as crunchy, dark red fruits saturated the senses amidst pretty inner florals. It finished long, brooding, and structured, showing mineral and spice-infused tart berries and grippy tannin.

The nose was exotic, with spicy florals and crushed stone giving way to black cherry. On the palate, I found an unexpectedly soft and pretty display, with ripe red fruits complicated by spice and inner florals. It finished dark, brooding and structured, showing mineral and spice-infused black cherry and hints of tannin.
