This wine is really popping right now. Also, I have had very good luck recently with 2006 burgundy from the producers I love, this is no exception. There’s beautiful red cherry and strawberry. The fruit is tart and lively and just enough depth. As always with this producer there is a gorgeous melange of holiday spices and there’s a lovely crunchiness to the wine as well, to go with dirt road mineral impression I think this wine will be more long-lived than I would’ve thought early on.

Pale garnet colour. Medium (+) and developed nose with raisins, forest floor, mushrooms, leather, black pepper and sweet tobacco. Medium (+) taste of raisins, prune, leather, mushrooms, forest floor, black pepper and sweet tobacco. Long and dry finish. High acidity. Medium (-) tannins. Medium body. A very good Vosne-Romanée 1er Cru that has matured beautifully. Needed 15 min in the glass to open. Drink now or over the next couple of years. Goes well with beef, duck, game or veal.

couleur rubis soutenu avec reflets orangés; nez exubérant de fruits noirs, d'épices et cette note un peu verte du millésime. Bouche concentrée, tannins assouplis avec le temps et finale un peu asséchante en lien avec le millésime. Tres belle bouteille a point.
