  Commanderie des Costes du Rhone - Fall 2022 Kick-off (Claud): Fresh with some good acid which for me is required to balance the bigger body of the rhone white. It's a bit floral and lightly honey. I absolutely love the red of this vineyard which I find to be the more elegant style across the Chapoutier and you can see that here too despite the warm year. Enjoyable.

  From Methusalem.What a magnificent showing. Tasted vis-avis d l'Oree & Meal from the same format and the same vintage, this comes out as the most elegant, vibrant, feminine; still young with a creamy texture, citrus notes, incredible length and layers upon layers. Could work with cheese, but best enjoyed on it's own to fully appreciate it.

  This was a lot more closed at the beginning and almost stony but with more time and air this rounded up and became quite beautiful as well!
