  This is entirely my style; a deep, cool, black-fruited nose, augmented by pencil and pine. A little more volume and complexity could have catapulted this to the next level, but this is special as-is. Tailed off after about an hour. 94-95

  Nose: Beautiful concentrated dark berries, cherry tart,, cassis and pencil. Mint, bell pepper and cedar. This is well focused and and has great depth. Palate: berry staining entry, cherry skin, loamy earth and just a touch of menthol. Really nice. Finish: Complete and complex. Great dark cabernet fruit and freshvfloral notes and sweet cedar.

  Deep, dark reddish-purple in color; almost opaque with no signs of aging. Forward, attractive & aromatic nose of developed & complex, ripe dark fruit aromas of blackberries, cherries, cassis & kirsch notes with eucalyptus & mint overtones, classic cigar box notes of cedar & aged tobacco, earthy/loam, dusty, leather, dark cocoa, spices, minerals, smoky & a touch of toasty oak & vanilla bean in the background. Full bodied with an excellent concentration of well balanced, developed yet still unctuous, complex, rich & ripe dark fruit flavors of blackberries, cherries & plums with earthy, herbal, cocoa, spices, minerals & a touch of toasty oak & vanilla undertones. Long lingering finish. drinks quite well at present with decanting & airing but surprisingly has the fruit & structure to continue with additional aging although any further development would be minimal. Bottle fill was excellent (still in neck) but the cork crumbled while opening. An excellent & wonderful Napa Cab at 36 years of age!

  Great stuff. Really nice mint and eucalyptus notes, great sweetness, so long and rich. Love it!
