This is ready for business. Really balanced and the dark fruit is really forward. Fills the mouth and is framed by soft tannins w some acidity to give lift to the finish. Without the acidity this would be too big and plush for my liking. Went well with salmon and crispy potatoes. Very nice wine and glad to see the 2008s coming out of hibernation.

Dark and plumy hue, with racy fruit; laden with raspberries and ripe cherries, spicy touches of sassafras, black tea, peppermint, and chocolate. Classic Pelos Sandberg dried rose petal and earthy nuances. Rich and smooth, with subtle smoke notes resting on multi layered mid-palate flowing easily over soft tannins. Vibrant lift on the spicy finish suggests this wine will cellar well. 330 cases produced

Nice acid and bright fruit of strawberries and other light berries. Pretty decent all around.

Dark fruit dominate, wood is noticeable but not overwhelming. Popped and poured so wine was tight at first but opened nicely with some time.
